Tuticorin Thermal Power Station is a power plant situated in Tuticorin, Tamilnadu, India, on the sea shore of Bay of Bengal. It has 5 units with a total installed capacity of 1,050 MW and spread over 160 hectares (400 acres). TEPL has executed the following projects for Tuticorin Thermal Power Station.
Coal Handling System projects:
Design, Supply, Erection, Modification and Commissioning of Inter connection of Bunker Conveyors 27A & B and 59A & B of Internal Coal Handling Plant.
Revamping of Yard Conveyors 49 & 54 in the Internal Coal Handling System.
Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning works for Upgrading the Drive System suitable for Loading the existing Conveyor 28B.
Ash Handling System projects:
Renewal of damaged recovery water line 1 from recovery water pump house to Ash Handling pump house with fabricated MS pipes for a total length of 2815 meter.
Boiler Division:
Renewal of Flue Gas duct from Air Pre-Heater outlet to ESP.
Cooling Water Pump Division:
Supplied pump spares like Impeller, Impeller Assembly with Shaft, Bowl Assembly, Bowl Guide, Adopting Plate, Guide Spider, TWS Structure Complete Assembly for Cooling Water Pump of Model 1050 VM 4A12.
PipeLine Projects:
TEPL has successfully supplied cooling water pipes of 1500 mm dia for Cooling Water System at Tuticorin Thermal Power Station and completed erection of additional recovery pump and pipelines for a length of 2.8 km at North Chennai Thermal Power Station.
TurnKey Projects:
TEPL has executed a Turnkey Project for Hi-Tech Flyash (India) Private Limited which is the First Indigenous Fly ash beneficiation plant in South India.
